Our trained engineers maintain the fleet and ensure that each fork lift truck attachment, scrubber / cleaner or other materials handling equipment functions efficiently and reliably.

When hiring a forklift, there are a number of important initial considerations, including:

• Load to be lifted
• Dimensions of the forklift (length, weight, height etc)
• Lift height
• Any forklift attachments needed

The actual application (what the forklift will be used for) is of critical importance when hiring a forklift.

	Small forklift hire applications (1-2 tonnes): These applications are often seen in the food, packaging and electronics industries amongst others.
	Medium forklift hire applications (2-3.5 tonnes): These applications are often seen in the building industry, engineering, indeed we have a number of these forklifts on hire.
	Large forklift hire (3.5 tonnes and over): These tend to be used in heavy industry such as metal recycling and shipping.

The choice of whether to hire a gas, diesel or electric fork lift truck is also important. You don’t want to be hiring a diesel forklift for use in a small warehouse or an electric forklift for permanent outdoor use!
